When My Angel Smiles-Live WMSE

Click: Angel WMSE

Another one from WMSE with a great extended improv on the intro featuring Jason Klagstad on Telecaster and Willy Porter on a high-strung acoustic. Had we let them, I’m sure they would still be playing, but we managed to come down from the stratosphere and play the song. This and River Of Steel are the first tunes I wrote that I can still play today. There were others that were OK, but I felt a connection to these songs that was stronger. Up to that point, my ambition was to be a songwriter, after that, I felt like I’d done it a couple times. Simple as that. Please stop by Cathedral Square tomorrow to catch Willy, Semi-Twang and a bunch of other great bands celebrating 30 years of Bastille Days and WMSE. It can’t miss!
