Looking For Love

Click: Looking For Love

Following a recent theme, more four-tracks from the Pleistocene era. The archeologists found this in a moldy trunk either in the basement or the attic, whichever one doesn’t flood. It was covered with a bluish-green growth and had to be run through a virtual Lysol program. When it was recovered, it was found to have another snappin’ guitar line. Apparently ’66 Tele through a cheap four track is the way to go. Unfortunately, I can only afford one of those units and it isn’t the Fender. I like some of these lyrics, my favorite though: “Clues you privately detected… Seems like they’re probably connected.” No S**t Sherlock! (If this was Robbie Fulks’ blog, there would be no asterisks. I once tried to talk him out of working blue, but he ignored my advice and is now suffering through a pretty successful career.) I also like the solo, it actually makes sense from start to finish. I must have been on something back then.

Now that’s a little number that would get all the girls and boys jumpin’ on the dance floor…or picnic tables.
