Beating Me With Own Stick

Click: Beating Me With My Own Stick

This is a simple tail, I mean tale… oldest one in the book. Man makes impressively large and dangerous stick to ward off enemies and says. “Here, my dear, please hold this ugly thing while I adjust my tiger-skin tunic.” He wakes up in Bedrock Memorial wearing a head to toe plaster cast and wonders which foe has laid him low. His sweetheart is there with flowers and kind words thinking she’ll collect on the insurance next time. Man makes resolution to invent much more dangerous stick, maybe one that actually fires little pieces of metal at his enemies and, as Kurt Vonnegut once said, so it goes. Lyrics (and twisted idea by Michael Feldmman) and music by yours truly. Tried for a little bit of Leon Redbone swing style guitar, but wound up with my usual hybrid.
