Deniability

01 Deniability

Lyrics by Michael Feldman, who has one of the most famous shrugs in radio. Of course you can’t see it, but you can listen to it in this song. The singer wants everyone to know that he doesn’t know and he’s proud of it. Would you rather have a head full of dangerous knowledge or an iron-clad alibi? Mike has sent me other songs along these lines. One was called Who, Me? — I would post it if I could find verses two, three and four, but they seem to be lost to the mists of time. Everyone I talk to denies any knowledge of their whereabouts. Demo done right here at room w/a vu, using the latest in virtual instruments that sound more real than they should. The bridge is my attempt to create something that might evoke the word Beatlesque and the solo was my stab at something Harrison-esque — where would I be without The Fabs?
